Welcome to Budget Inn of Clearwater

Budget Inn of Clearwater offers an affordable and practical lodging option in the heart of Clearwater, Florida. While the property may not boast modern aesthetics or luxury finishes, it provides a clean, quiet, and comfortable environment that appeals to travelers seeking value and simplicity.

Located at 1471 Court St, this modest inn balances convenience with calm. Guests consistently highlight the friendly and attentive staff, who create a welcoming atmosphere amid the older building. The rooms, though showing signs of age, are spacious and well-lit—natural sunlight filters through dual windows, complemented by blackout curtains for restful nights. Cleanliness is a focal point, with fresh linens available on request, though minor updates like replacing the shower curtains could enhance the experience further.

For travelers prioritizing price and essential amenities, Budget Inn stands out with free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking, and air-conditioned rooms. Its pet-friendly policy and accessible accommodations extend comfort to a broad range of visitors. Although it lacks a restaurant, airport shuttle, and fitness center, nearby sightseeing, recreational activities, and a golf course offer plenty to explore.

Guests appreciate the quiet ambiance, making it a reliable home base for extended stays or emergency lodging, as noted during Hurricane Milton. This sense of security and calmness adds a valuable dimension beyond the physical amenities. The owners' friendly engagement and competitive rates further elevate the inn's appeal.

Honestly it’s not the best looking, but we made it home for a little over a month. Always clean sheets upon request, really quiet, everyone kept to themselves. Some people live there and some were dailies. The owners are very friendly and offered the best rates in the area! If we ever go back to Clearwater we would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Budget Inn of Clearwater for 10 days: I found it to be quiet, quite spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rate was decent. I liked how I had windows on both sides of the room, giving lots of natural light, and when I wanted it dark, the blackout curtains did a great job. Although the room was clean, the shower curtain could use replacing or a deep cleaning, the shower water pressure was very low, and hot water not always available (warm water was available). It's an older retro building, so if you are looking for high end perfection, this isn't for you. If you want a decent, no-frills, quiet place to stay, then this could work for you. There's a gas station convenience store across the street and it's only 2 miles to the beach: an easy bus or bike ride if you don't want the hassle of parking. One of the reasons it's a quiet motel is they don't allow visitors: for one, there's only enough parking for the guests, and two, it keeps the property free from loud parties and illegal activities. It's also pet friendly, and my guy Hollywood felt right at home. I'd stay there again when I need a place in Clearwater.
